Hunters generally arrive at the Edmonton International Airport on the Saturday and stay one night in a hotel near the airport at their own expense. We pick you up on the Sunday around noon and from then on, you need not worry about a thing. We supply your accomodations, meals, guides, etc. Buck Mountain Outfitters understands the importance of a good meal. We employ some of Alberta's finest chefs at our camps.

You will also require a hotel room the night before departure (Saturday, as most often, Sundays are reserved for travel time). I can make hotel reservations for you upon request.

In summary, I suggest that when making flight arrangements, you attempt to time your arrival on the Saturday and departure on the following Sunday.

The weather in Alberta in November (last three weeks) can vary from 10 degrees above to 30 degrees below zero; therefore good, warm clothing for the cold weather is a must. Red is not necessary. It is also a good idea to de-grease your rifle. I have a large number of repeat clientelle but generally have 8-10 openings for hunts that fill very quickly.

Between myself, a number of professional guides and great food, you can be assured of a memorable hunt.
