We hunt only four hunters. You will stay at our full-service lodge that includes chef prepared meals. Contrary to roughing it in the usual outdoor bear camp, Buck Mountain Outfitters provides an upscale, full-service hunt. Our area has a sound population of black bears that includes all the color phases.

The weather in Alberta in mid May - early June is usually quite nice but can be unpredictable. Warm clothes, good, waterproof, high top boots and quality rain gear are a must.

We normally pick up our hunters at their hotel on a Sunday amd return them to Edmonton late the following Saturday evening. You will require a hotel room for one night upon your arrival, and one night prior to your departure. We can assist with hotel reservations upon request.

In summary, I suggest that when making flight arrangements, you attempt to time your arrival on the Saturday and departure on the following Sunday.
